We offer many services to suit a participant’s individual needs. These take the form of:

  • computer aids such as voice activated software
  • keyboards with large keys
  • special disability software to aid interaction     
  • tablets devices and laptops with learning apps
  • special consideration for assessment
  • flexible deadlines and scheduling
  • Youth worker on staff
  • access to interpreters for languages and Auslan
  • referral services.

As a Registered Training Organisation, Avenue Neighbourhood House @ Eley is regularly audited against national quality standards. Learner Engagement Survey

The Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) is the national set of compliance Standards and Essential Conditions that the VET training provider must meet to become a Registration Training Provider (RTO). The AQTF Quality Indicators for RTOs form part of the AQTF Essential Conditions and Standards for Continuing Registration that apply to all RTOs registered with VRQA.

RTOs are required to collect and use data on three quality indicators:
  • competency completion
  • learner engagement
  • employer satisfaction

NDIS course fees and education material costs

For students eligible to receive Skills First Government subsidised training to complete Nationally Recognised Training qualifications or skill sets, the National Disability and Insurance Scheme (NDIS) will not fund any course fees or education materials associated with education and training.
